Looking today on Walsall's website trying to find out if Troy had featured last night in there two nil win over Halesowen and I came across an article detailing Troys pending return to Halesowen where he scored nine goals in as many games for them after leaving ourselves. In the Article our club is constantly mentioned and its a credit to Troy once again for highlighting our club. See it your self at www.saddlers.co.uk News Article: "Deeney looking forward to Yeltz return" on the 25th July

Just found this article on Troy www.icwalsall.co.uk 30th July 2007 JUST what the doctor ordered, was Richard Money's assessment of Walsall's reverse against Blues. The Saddlers manager must have been encouraged by his side's second-half show after Blues had bossed the first period. Money said: "Birmingham moved the ball about very well and we had to work exceptionally hard. The first half was still a get-to-know-you affair and we gave away two stupid goals. But I think we should have won the second half." Money appears to have unearthed another exciting prospect in Portuguese striker Carlos Caneiro, who caused Blues problems from the moment he arrived after replacing Martin Butler in the 66th minute. Money said: "He's going to prove a very good partner for either Martin or Tommy Mooney. "But we haven't finished there by any means when it comes to bringing new players in. We've got one or two very interesting people out there who we are looking at." At the same time Money was equally enthused by some of his youngsters. In addition to Ishmel Demontagnac, Money also gave late showings to fellow 19-year-olds Alex Nicholls and Troy Deeney and added: "All of them have big futures in the game.
"I said to Troy with about five minutes to go 'I suppose you want to go on now'. He replied that he should have been on from the word go!"Money also revealed that defender Scott Dann was struggling with shin-splints but was expecting him to feature in this week's friendlies against Kidderminster Harriers and Burton Albion. And there's better news concerning Allan Picken, who has been receiving treatment at Lilleshall over the past week where he had been diagnosed with a small tear in his cartilage. Money added: "He's okay now, but we won't be pushing him too hard, because we don't want another setback."

Went to the game the other day and although he only got 5 minutes he looked alright, put in a good tackle against Rowan Vine and then paced Martin Taylor before playing a neat inside ball, didnt look out of place
